For a second year in a row the honor belongs to a man from Northern Ireland. As Rory McIlroy destroyed the U.S. Open record book on his way to a wire-to-wire butt kicking at the Congressional Country Club in suburban D.C. NBC sports put together a video montage of school children saying the pledge of allegiance as soldiers raised an American Flag. There was just one problem.
