Generic boring ideas win
Generic boring ideas win again! How much money and time and energy did this change take?
I believe there are more important issues that the tourism people should be concerned about... namely, when you try to visit Wrightsville Beach, you can't park anywhere, and when you visit downtown Wilmington, you always get a parking ticket even with the best of intentions.
It would be great to pull people in to visit for the first time, but make sure the infrastructure is stable enough to support them once they're here, or else they won't be back.
And the agency they hired...is in SC.
Did you know the branding agency they hired is in SC!
I'm glad to see the New Hanover County Tourism Development Authority is spending it's money wisely on "local" businesses. I just didn't know Myrtle Beach was considered "local" to Wilmington.
