It seems lavish trips are a part of the status quo as a city council member. All other council members have traveled around the country as well. Tarp fund visits to D.C etc.. Enough is enough, finally some light is shed on a problem that can easily be resolved by cutting up the Credit Card for travel. If the whole council can't get the job done from Downtown. They need to go.
