It has been a project more than six years in the making. Today a ground breaking was held to mark the start of construction on a new Veteran Affairs super clinic in Wilmington.

Better way than VA

This concept of making veterans go to a low bid VA Clinic instead of the doctor of their choice is crazy....especially when it is costing taxpayers more than it should. Here is a novel idea: Put veterans(I am one as well) on tricare to handle their service connected issues so they can co to the doctor of their choice. In the process, dismantle every VA Health facility in the U.S. This will save taxpayers $billions, will keep veterans from travelling for healthcare, but more importantly, it will ensure veterans receive the best care available. Let me give you a hint, only "low-bid" doctors work for the government in VA. The talented doctors go in private practice and accept tricare insurance. Mike McIntyre says veterans deserve the "very best." He knows in his heart that the very best are doctors in private practice. Healthcare should be about treating veterans effectively, NOT sustaining a bloated government bureaucracy called the Veterans Administration.

ONE PROBLEM...YOU make too much sense! SAVING THE TAXPAYERS MONEY...HOW DARE YOU!!! This also coming from a veteran.
