WWAY'S Friday night sports - March 2

The West Columbus Vikings will not be going to the state championship game this year in 1-A basketball. The season ended on Friday night in the 1-A regionals in Fayetteville. The New Hanover Wildcats will be playing in the 4-A east finals on Saturday in Fayetteville. The UNCW men's basketball team will also be playing on Saturday. The Hawks get to advance to round two after beating James Madison on Friday.
