WWAY's Friday night sports - May 4

Friday night’s sports segment featured the UNCW baseball team in their series opener against Towson. We also checked out the Laney softball and baseball teams as they tried to position themselves for the postseason. We highlighted more high school baseball action from New Hanover and Hoggard. We also featured high school lacrosse playoff games between the Ashley and Laney girls, as well as the Hoggard boys.
