Montford Point Marines

I have a question. My father also was a Montford Point Marine. I have His Certified copy of his discharge Papers on my wall in my home. I there a way to receive the award in his honor? If you can find out - It would be a Story to assist the families of those wishing to pursue one in honor of their fathers... My father served in the US Army and the marines, and he had a Military funeral (US Marines - On Sept 3rd 2009) Here in WIlmington. Your assistance will be most greatly appreciated.
