WWAY's Thursday night sports - June 28

On Thursday night our sports coverage featured the NBA Draft. The Charlotte Bobcats decided to keep the overall #2 pick. In a bit of a surprise the Bobcats selected Kentucky forward Michael Kidd-Gilchrist. On Thursday Wilmington swimmer Cari Blalock completed her week at the US Olympic Trials. She didn't make Team USA, but Blalock had a great week in the pool. Plus, we found out there's an opening for an athletic director at a high school in Columbus County.
