Azalea Belle making history

Positioned among the beautiful gardens are the azalea belles. And this year, one of the belles is making history. In more than 40 years of azalea belles there's never been one like Lauren Moore. Lauren has Downe's Syndrome. While that might make her seem different than the rest of the group she's just like every other teenage girl.

I have gone to school with lauren since 6th grade year, and to see her now, as a senior at laney, and to see her as a belle is something that makes me proud to know someone like her. she really is a beautiful individual inside and out, and is going to be one of the most gorgeous belles this year. watch out girls!
