Bladen County band directors are asking for the public's help. They need old instruments for children who can't afford to be in band. I think John Hudson is doing a great thing. I am in the Marching Band at East Bladen. Band has gotten smaller and smaller over the years. The way the economy is now, No one can afford instruments. When I started in the Sixth Grade, We didn't have a program like this to help us. I believe if the kids were handed an instrument( That really had the passion for Band ) then Bands in Bladen Co. Would be bigger..
