Homemade signs ask for drivers to slow down after dog's death

A New Hanover County resident has an important message to drivers. Someone has posted signs in their neighborhood that say, "Slow down. You killed my dog!" The signs are posted inside the Weatherwood subdivision just off Gordon Road and Wood Squirrel, but the question is are the bright colored signs changing the way people drive in this neighborhood?"

Sorry Lady

Look I just was browsing the web and just so happened to come across this story.. For the record Your dog Ran into the road at a high rate of speed... I was traveling 33 miles per hour...And he hit the back tires.. And it was more like he or she hit me, and I was the victorious one.I also would like to point out my truck wasn't doing so well either.380.00 worth of damage... Maybe instead of spending all your time posting signs. You should pay attention to where your next dog is... And for all the children that play in the road in YOUR AREA... WHY THE HELL ARE THEY IN THE ROAD.. POOR PARENTING.. KEEP YOUR KIDS OUT OF THE ROAD IDIOTS... AND YOUR LITTLE DOGS TOO....

P.T.

but I am truly sorry for your loss.
