Insurance company won't cover sick woman

A Pender County woman is in new hanover regional...recovering from a severe illness. When it was touch and go, her husband called their life insurance agent and that phone call only added to their troubles.

I would get a copy of the cleared check to prove offer and acceptance. Next, I would, with the help of an attorney, get a copy of the log associated with their case (most insurance companies have one). The log should have some verbiage stating the policy is in force and on what date. Usually companies keep logs like this for compliance purposes. Also, might be good to check with the Dept of Insurance of the state that Prudential is located. Good Luck with this.
