Although I do not agree with what you are doing 24 and 16 is much different then 40 and 16.

Consider this, you are asking for big time problems. I do not care what the mother is saying now, at one time she wanted you put in jail. What happens if she gets mad at you again? Is it worth being a registered sex offender? I doubt it. Think it over carefully.

Is this right, no she should have at least been a consenting adult...but it's widespread to have that type of age difference, people just seem to not notice if you're rich and famous.

I believe your math is wrong...when he is 60, she will be 36; when he's 70, she'll be 46. I understand your point, though. The unfortunate thing about this situation is that she is destined to grow up way too fast, mainly because of his selfish desire for immediate gratification. He should know, as an adult who works with young people, that at 16 she is too young to be able to make a lifelong decision (such as marriage), nor does she have the life experiences necessary to make that decision or commitment educatedly. At 16, she probably has not been in many (if any) serious relationships with other guys, making it nearly impossible for her to truly know what characteristics she needs in a life partner. She is blinded by the thought of true love right now, and is unable to see what consequences her choice will bring, but by the time she reaches her 20's she will start to see the implications. He has already lived the portion of his life she has not even begun, and may not wish to revisit that time; he may be too mature to deal with the immaturity of her choices that she needs to be able to make in order to grow as an adult. This forces her to skip that portion of her life (for now), which she may be willing to do for the time being, but inevitably she will need to have those life experiences in order to move on through the stages of her life. I only wish they decide to wait for a family until she's at least a legal adult, if not older.

now the girl is only 16,he have no love, in my experience in life he only used a love spell to won the girls heart, if you believe in magic spells, the spell it was the most powerful tool, the girl is innocent saying she loves hem,its an abuse to use a 16 years old girl its only a children and he can get some one the same hes age.

I used to work with this girl at Food Lion. She said that they had just been "friends" for several years and that she got married to get out of an "abusive" household. I'm not sure how much truth there is to that, but I wonder what had been going on. The coach lives across the street from me and I've seen the girl several times riding her bike in front of the house, waiting until she thinks noone is looking, and then going around and inside the privacy fence. I thought it was strange to begin with, but didn't want to start or feed rumors. All of a sudden, I hear about all of this, and it's crazy to know that this was happening RIGHT ACROSS THE STREET from my house!!!!

mom needs to be exposed for the shameful way that she was raised her daughter, and dad. i hope this makes the national press and they become the ridiculed hick parents that they are trying to be.

Just wondering what's going on.....Brunswick County teachers & adminstrators sure have been in the news a bunch lately....

I do not want to hear the school the parents or the so called teachers excuses for this, a 40 year old man knows right form wrong, are there more girls, in his past he just couldn't stay away from! Will he move to another
school district and do who knows what with other girls, he should never set foot into a class room again!
I have worked in this school, they need to keep better track of the kids. This whole thing had to start somewhere,and as for the parents I would never let a 16 year old girl spend time with any teacher after school hours I'm sure the school dosen't encourage it,why does a 16 year old run your house and family and you make it hard for others trying to reason with and raise teenagers not mentally mature enought of make life time decesions, I have teenage girls, they can act as any way they want when they move out of my home,in the mean time we will raise them right and not give in when they have the everyday teenager problems it is hard for teenagers today thats why you have to say no, no matter how upset they get or even if they stop speaking to you, I tell them when we don't agree I would rather you be mad at me now than hate me later for not doing whats right as a parent.sometimes you have to be the adult and say no, later they will know it's because you love them.

Yes, this situation looks bad, but I can not pass all these judgements with out knowing ALL the facts. We'll never be given all the facts and, that's probably a good thing - the general public should know what is going on in the schools but - not in this girl's and her family's private lives.

You must be a friend of Gary's. The whole school knew about Coach Wuchae's relationship with students, bizzare how the staff looked the other way. He was not the only teacher at this small school with and interest in female students. I also left the county.

Come on people, step up and discipline your kid. You don't just give up and give them what they want. You pretty much just "helped" her screw her life up! What a shame. The kid should have gotten her cell phone taken away. Should have been put on total restriction (taken to school, picked up from school, watched 24/7) NO TRACK EVENTS! COME ON.

I don't agree with any of this. Ultimately a young life is now trashed due to all these circumstances. I just can't believe how afraid parents are to discipline their kids these days. Back when I was a kid, I was kept in line. These days, it's called abuse!
