It's official, McMahon takes oath

There's a new sheriff in town. Ed McMahon took the oath of office Wednesday morning to replace Sid Causey as New Hanover County Sheriff.

Hey, patrol one. Remember you serve at the pleasure of the sheriff. I would be careful with your wording. Let's give him a chance. What will he do with the ( employee's ) that is in their 70's? Let's get real / would you like for those to respond to a call with you . Think about this!!!! Safety first for all.
