N.C. Coastal Resources Commission says sandbags must be removed

The N.C. Coastal Resources Commission today directed the state Division of Coastal Management to resume enforcement measures for removal of sandbag structures that have exceeded time limits outlined in commission’s rules, and are not covered with sand and vegetation.
