New V.A. facility to be centrally located at ILM

Veterans Affairs officials are moving forward with plans for a new VA outpatient clinic in Wilmington. The one hundred thousand square-foot facility will be located in the Wilmington International Airport's business park, which will save veterans an otherwise lengthy drive to get specialized medical treatment.

Does anyone know if and when the new Va clinic will start hiring? I r etired from VAMC in Fayetteville and would like to go back to work in the new clinic to open in April in Wilmington. I am a Certified Dental Asst./Dental Therapy Asst./OA Asst.

The Disabled American Veteran Chapter 11 provides Transportion to the VA Medical Units in Fayetteville and Durham free of charge to any disabled veterans from any war that lives in Wilmington area. You can call the chapter at 313-2190 Monday thru Friday to requist a ride to either place for your apportment.
