Old Meat Packing Plant May Turn Into Park in Navassa

Can an eyesore be turned into a centerpiece? The Brunswick County town of Navassa received a $200,000 Brownfields Grant from the EPA. It will allow the town to perform an assessment of the old Cape Fear Meat Packing Plant, which the mayor of Navassa will turn into a park.
