Rosenwald schools rich in Black history

In the early 1900s a man named Julius Rosenwald helped fund more than 5,000 Black schools in the segregated south. It is becoming a forgotten part of our past. The Historic Wilmington Foundation has named the area's Rosenwald schools as some of the most threatened historic places.
