STATE PORT PILOT: Dosher asked to pay $1 million power bill

The City of Southport is seeking more than $1 million from Dosher Memorial Hospital for electricity used but not paid for since fiscal year 2004, due to an error in billing discovered from internal audits of the city’s utility accounts, the State Port Pilot reports.
