Where is the education lottery money going?

Wednesday we explained how money from the North Carolina Education Lottery is doled out; about 30 percent goes toward education. Now the question is, how do school districts spend their portion of the money?

Ok so 15% goes to retailers and expenses. 15% of a billion is 150 million dollars. Ill say that again. 150 million dollars. New Hanover County got 10 million. There are 100 counties in the state. NHC got 10 million. Ten million times one hundred is one a billion. The lottery said they only took in a billion. Someting aint addin up!
