Wilmington woman targeted by Internet check scam

Counterfeit check scams are common crimes on the internet. Muriel Ledbetter fell for it. "I had nothing to lose, how could a money order be fraud?" she said.

I was scamed as well.and i was sent millions in check and money orders.I need help. i payed back the bank 3800 for the bad checks and im out the money. but even worse then that. now mr. king of the shallotte police dep. took out bogus warnts on me. for resiveing stolen goods. just like this woman.how can money order be bogus. and wy cant the bank tellers tell the diffrence.im the victom. im the one out my funds not the bank. so wy should this reflict on my record? please help...
