VOTE 2010: Former NYC Mayor Giuliani endorses Pantano

READ MORE:

Wilmington, NC (NEWS RELEASE) - The Pantano for Congress Campaign announced today that they have received the endorsement from Mayor Rudy Giuliani, the former Mayor of New York who is affectionately known as America’s Mayor.

Mayor Giuliani issued the followed statement upon endorsing Pantano: “Ilario Pantano witnessed the terrorist attacks on 9/11, and having already fought one war for his country he felt compelled to re-join the Marines and defend his country a second time. All of us wanted to do what we could, and many talked about it, but Ilario made bold strong decisions to put himself in harm’s way. Time and time again, Ilario Pantano has chosen country before self and that is why I am proud to endorse him for the US Congress.”

“With our economy in peril and millions unemployed, our nation is in desperate need of brave, principled leaders who will put country first. And once again, Ilario Pantano has answered his country’s call. In Congress, you can trust him to stand up for our conservative principles, for fiscal responsibility, for lower taxes, and a safer nation. He won’t back down from the liberals in Washington. “

As the son of an Italian immigrant, Ilario has lived the American dream. His roots were humble, but with hard work and dedication he has succeeded not just in the military but in the private sector as well. He understands what it takes to create jobs and move our country forward.

Voters in North Carolina’s 7th Congressional District have a clear choice: They can vote for a 14-year Democrat incumbent who is ‘honored’ to be a part of the Pelosi leadership team that has hijacked our nation with their liberal agenda or they can vote for Ilario Pantano, a Marine veteran and former small businessman who will fight for them and for their shared values.

The choice is clear, and I urge everyone in the 7th Congressional District to join me in supporting Ilario Pantano. Restoring conservative control of Congress and the future of our country may hinge on your vote.”

RESPONSE FROM THE MCINTYRE CAMPAIGN:

"Congressman McIntyre has been endorsed by 64 mayors, of every political persuasion, throughout southeastern North Carolina. Mr. Pantano has been endorsed by an ex-Governor from Alaska, with a similarly erratic work history, and his hometown mayor. We're pleased with our local support," said campaign manager Jason Burke.

Let's say this a little more clearly: Congressman McIntyre has been endorsed by 64 beneficiaries of his party's re-distribution of other people's income...

Better Not Let

the Pit Bull hear that Rudy is known as "America's Mayor".

She thought her Dad, Tommy DelAsandro, former mayor of Baltimore wore that banner.

Maybe that explains her actions.
