VOTE 2010: U.S. Chamber of Commerce endorses McIntyre

The Chamber of Commerce of the United Stated of America, the world’s largest business federation, has endorsed Congressman Mike McIntyre for re-election because of his strong pro-jobs and pro-business record.

In the endorsement letter written to Congressman McIntyre, U.S. Chamber President Thomas J. Donohue wrote, “At no other time in our nation’s history has it been more critical that Members of Congress provide leadership that protects and advances the interests of the business community. We believe that your election to the U.S. House will help produce sustained economic growth and help create more jobs.”

Congressman McIntyre has a longstanding history of working with local chambers of commerce and holds an annual Business and Economic Summit in Washington where he collaborates with chamber leaders from throughout Southeastern North Carolina to create economic development strategies.

“I am honored to have earned the endorsement of the U.S. Chamber,” Congressman McIntyre said. “Jobs and economic development remains my top priority as I work for the people of Southeastern North Carolina in Congress.”
