If all Americans were like our U.S. soldiers who are remembered here in Wilmington, NC, our country would stand fully protected forever. These men in uniform do the tough job of protecting the rights and freedoms of ALL who are U.S. citizens. Believe me without these men and women in uniform, this country would not exist.  Do not doubt this. Mr. Russell is a man of courage and dedication, and this Memorial is a credit to the men who serve our country, this man who does his part, and a city who cares about the men who serve them.
