Wake to be held for slain pregnant Marine

VANDALIA, Ohio (AP) -- The family of a pregnant Marine whose killing has touched off an international manhunt will receive mourners at a wake. Visitation for Lance Corporal Maria Lauterbach is scheduled to begin at 4 p.m. Thursday at St. Christopher Church in the Dayton, Ohio, area community where she grew up. The funeral Mass is Saturday morning at the church in Vandalia. Corporal Cesar Laurean is suspected of killing Lauterbach and fleeing to Mexico, where authorities have issued an arrest warrant. Lauterbach's charred remains were found this month with those of her fetus in a fire pit in Laurean's backyard near Camp Lejeune, where both Marines were stationed.
