Want to voice your opinion on state spending?

You can voice your opinion about state spending Tuesday night. The North Carolina House is hosting a public hearing to get input on the state budget. House members want to hear from regular folks who are not normally engaged in the process. The meeting is from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. in Raleigh. If you do not want to make the drive to Raleigh, there will also be video hookups at several community colleges. In our area, Bladen Community College will be wired up for the event. The college is located on Highway 41 West in Dublin. The conference starts at 6:00 p.m.

Another attempt to fool the voters. Give me a break. They will run things their way, and spend every cent they can, till we throw em out.
I'm sure they'll listen maybe to where it's spent but not to how much. And remember, with our current situation they raised next years budget by another billion dollars. Is that the way it works, you make less money, so the logical thing is to spend more. These people who are spending our money couldn't even run a successful lemonade stand. Next thing you know they'll be auditing your Birthday and Christmas gifts and the childrens allowances.
It is not going to matter what we think. Bev and Kay are going to do what they want to anyway.
