Warrants: NC man claims not to remember rampage

READ MORE:
CARTHAGE, N.C. -- Search warrants say that a man accused of shooting eight people at a North Carolina nursing home told a hospital nurse that he "does not remember anything." The court documents released Tuesday say that investigators went to the home of Robert Kenneth Stewart after the shooting and found ammunition on the kitchen table and a bed, along with eight guns. The warrants also say they found pill bottles and papers with writing on them. The warrant says Stewart told a nurse that he had taken six nerve pills and does not remember anything else. Stewart is being held in Central Prison on charges that he killed seven patients at Pinelake Health and Rehab Center and a nurse at the facility. Authorities say a police officer shot and injured Stewart to end the rampage. (Copyright 2009 by The Associated Press. All Rights Reserved.)

Sure

It is the old "I can't remember anything" alibi that has been used for years. Let's not take responsibility for our actions. Let's either not remember or blame it on someone else. This will prove to be an interesting case and it depends on what smarty pants lawyer he gets, how this will go!
