__________________________________________________________________________ StormTrack 3 Weather Discussion: I'm not sure if I'd say March is coming in as a lion or a lamb, but whatever animal it is -- they're going to be warm to start the month. Warm air continues to grip the area today, and highs will soar well into the upper 70's this afternoon. Slightly cooler air will move in tonight as a front slips just south into South Carolina. This same front will push back northward during the day Friday, and will put us back in the warm air as we enter the weekend. While Saturday will start off warm and pleasant, we'll need to be watchful for strong storms approaching the area as a strong front marches eastward through the Carolinas. Chilly air will finish off the weekend on Sunday. Today: Partly sunny and very warm. Highs in the upper 70's; upper 60's at the beaches. 20% chance of a morning shower. Tonight: Partly cloudy and mild. Lows in the low 50's. Friday: Times of clouds and sun. A stray shower possible (20% chance). Highs in the low 70's.
