Empie Park WFD
Finally the WFD/City of Wilmington sees fit to destroy the mold-ridden station at Empie Park. The study was released well over a year ago and it was known by city officials before then!! The public needs an explanation through an investigative reporter as to why this took so long...date specific. There was a problem at the Wrightsboro School and it was closed within weeks. Complete disregard for the city fire-fighters and EMS technicians housed there. I am not a fire-fighter nor related to one....just a citizen!!
FIRE STATION
I USE TO RUN AMBULANCE CALLS OUT OF THAT BUILDING 15 YEARS AGO.IT WAS MOLDY THEN!!! ALSO, IT WAS AN INADEQUATE FACILITY FOR FIRE/EMS WORKERS. THOSE MEN AND WOMEN DESERVE MUCH BETTER.I WAS PROUD TO WORK WITH SUCH PROFESSIONAL AND CARING PEOPLE.
