If you like visiting the North Carolina Aquarium, Friday is your day. You can get a bird’s eye view of the largest exhibit at the aquarium and see how they feed their aquatic creatures. It starts at 2 p.m. Prices start at $18. Pre-registration is required. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Children under 8 are not permitted.

Later that afternoon you can bring the entire family back to the aquarium to enjoy dinner with the fishes. After dinner you'll get an after hours tour. Tickets range from $5 - $20. Again, you need to pre-register. It begins at 6 p.m.

Hurricane season is underway; would you know what to do if a hurricane hit our area? Saturday you can join the meteorologists from WWAY at StormFest. There will be interactive weather demonstrations to prepare you just in case a storm would hit. It's Saturday at the Cape Fear Museum. It's from 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. It's free to attend.

Do your children love Doctor Seuss? If so, Saturday you can take them to Pomegranate Books to celebrate World Oceans Day. They will get the chance to hear the Doctor Seuss Classic "One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish" in English and Spanish. It's free. The fun starts at 10 a.m.

If you enjoy watching movies and being outside, you can head to the Carolina Beach Lake Park for the Pleasure Island outdoor summer movie series. Their next showing is Sunday at 8:45 p.m. The movie is Star Trek. It's free.

And that's What's Happening.
