It is nearly four decades old and still going strong. This weekend, it is the 39th Annual Greater Wilmington Antique Show and Sale. Inside the Coastline Convention Center, you will see a large selection of antiques ranging from furniture, jewelry, linens and glassware. More than 35 dealers will be in attendance. Hours are 10:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. Friday and Saturday. Noon until 5:00 p.m. on Sunday. Admission is six dollars. Proceeds benefit area charities. The Walt Disney classic, Cinderella, comes to the Brunswick Community College Odell Williamson Auditorium. It is produced entirely by Waccamaw school students. They perform, sing, dance and even created the stage. You can catch a performance either Friday or Saturday night at 7:30, admission is five dollars. Seahawk pride fills the air this weekend. It's Homecoming at UNCW. You are invited to Tealgate before the Haws basketball game Saturday night. It begins at five. Your ticket covers food, beverages and games. Tealgate advance tickets are 12 dollars for adults, five for children six to twelve. If you are going to the game, you can buy a package deal for $25 for adults and $15 for kids six to twelve and $9 for children two to six. You must buy packages in advance. Get your green thumb ready. The 2009 Wilmington Garden Show is at the Schwartz Center this weekend. Spring is less than two months away. If you want to get some ideas for your landscaping, you don't want to miss the show. On Saturday, hours are from 9:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. Sunday, from 9:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. Tickets are seven dollars for adults, twelve and under are free. It is your chance to sample an assortment of wine and beer. Wilmington's Winter Wine and Beer Walk is Saturday from 1:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. Advance tickets are 15 dollars per person, or two for $25. Tickets are available at Bottega Art and Wine and the Wilmington Wine Shoppe. Your attic could be a treasure trove of priceless antiques. See what you can find, then head to an appraisal fair Sunday in Brunswick County. It runs from 1:00 p.m. until 4:30 p.m. at the Southport Community Center. Make sure you get there early.
