The Michael Jackson cover band, Who's Bad, is performing in downtown Wilmington Friday night for the Downtown Sundown Concert Series. Opening act takes the stage at 6:00 p.m., with Who's Bad expected to take the stage around 8:00 p.m. Before they start playing, there will be a moment of silence. The concert is free. The weekend is rocking with Schoolhouse Rock Live! It is based on the educational animated TV series that taught subjects like history, grammar and math through songs. If you are ready for some Conjunction Junction, performances are Friday and Saturday at 8:00 p.m., and Sunday at 3:00 p.m. Shows are at City Stage/Level 5 in downtown Wilmington. Tickets are $18-20 dollars. Saturday, it's time to stop and admire the Golden Oldies. The Classy-Chassis Car Show and Country Flea Market is Saturday at Poplar Grove Plantation. It begins at 9:00 a.m. and ends at 4:00 p.m. Keeping with the classics theme, a Music of the 60’s Dinner Show is taking place at Duplin Winery in Rose Hill on Saturday night. You get dinner, music, comedy and dance. Dinner begins at 6:00 p.m. Tickets are $41. For an additional two dollars, you can take a production tour and participate in a wine tasting at 3:30. It is a world record attempt you do not see every day. Saturday, the Whispering Pines nudist resort in Ocean Isle Beach is participating in a skinny dipping world record attempt. It is happening at nudist resorts all across the US. The dip takes place at 3:00 p.m., but you can get there at 2:00. A program that helps provide after school care and food for children is hoping to raise money this weekend. The Family and Neighborhoods Institute is holding a fundraiser Saturday at Union Missionary Baptist Church. It begins at 6:00 p.m. Carabba's is catering. For ticket's call 762-2884.
