Whiteville man convicted of child porn charges

WHITEVILLE -- A Whiteville man will spend the next 180 months in jail after being convicted on child porn charges. Philip Perry admitted to investigators that he downloaded child porn from the internet, and that he had victimized children of family friends, children who attended his church and children at Anchorage Camp in Lake Waccamaw. Perry pleaded guilty in Columbus County to four counts of taking indecent liberties with minors as a result of those molestations.

I just do not understand how someone in their right mind can oppose the death penalty after reading a story like this or the one from Las Vegas with the little girl being raped on film. Liberal wimps!
Life in prison (if he makes it), make sure his uniform says child molester on the back! give him lots of recess time, should only take a week. Scumbag!
yup, put chester out in the yard full time. The other prisoners will hopefully do the job the state should've done.
