Wilmington's Bo Dean receives national recognition

The Chair of Wilmington's Parks and Recreation Advisory Board is receiving national recognition. The National Recreation and Park Association selected Bo Dean from nominees across the country to receive a community service award. The award goes to a person who has demonstrated an ongoing contribution of time and effort to improving parks and recreation or for helping improve the lives of individuals with disabilities. A city spokesperson said Dean has done both in Wilmington.
