Wilmington designer debuts new fashion line

WILMINGTON --A Wilmington fashion designer will debut a new collection this weekend and is inviting the public to attend.

Olive Page designs a variety of clothing from coutoure womenswear to active wear. She typically sells her clothes through private viewings, but you have a chance to check out her work this weekend.

She will debut her new line, LIV by Olive J., at a showing at 5 p.m. Saturday at the Hilton Garden Inn at Mayfaire.

"What makes me different as a designer is probably my background and what I've studied. I did attend college at LaSalle College in Montreal, Quebec for this. This has always been my passion. My particular passion in the industry is the history of where the clothes have come from."
