The Wilmington Housing Authority has hired a new CEO.

Michael Krause will be the new leader at the Housing Authority. He will preside over all operations for the authority, as well as its non-profit organization, Housing Economic Opportunity.

WHA board members were drawn to Krause because of his background with public housing.

WHA Commissioner Bo Dean said, "…he talked about the first thing he wants to do is meet with residents…everybody needs to be involved."

Krause will start September 22. The former Wilmington Housing Authority director Windell Daniels passed away in April.

please tell me that the wha's new ceo stands for wilmington housing authority's new crack enforcement officer. only when one of these is hired will the projects turn into a civilized place to live and relieve themselves of the animalistic instincts.
