WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) -- The Wilmington Police Department is investigating the death of a 23-year-old Wilmington man on Sunday morning as a homicide, according to a statement from a department spokesperson. The statement said EMS was dispatched at about 8:15 a.m. to the 1900 block of Colwell Avenue, where a family member had attempted CPR. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
