Wilmington Residential Facility for Women may be saved

A Wilmington women's prison may have a fighting chance of keeping its doors open. The Wilmington Residential Facility for Women was on Governor Bev Perdue's budgetary chopping block. The women's prison on Darlington Ave. houses 36 inmates, many of whom hold jobs in the community.
