The owner of a private Wilmington security firm is expected in a New Hanover County court Monday. A grand jury indicted Joe Guarascio on several child pornography charges in November. The charges include three counts of first-degree sexual exploitation of a minor and a second-degree count as well. In the indictment, Guarascio is accused of producing pornography depicting a 17-year-old and receiving pornographic images of a 13-year-old. He was already charged with two counts of statutory rape. In all, he faces nine felonies. Guarascio and his Inter-Pol Special Police Services have had legal troubles before, including convictions of impersonating a law enforcement officer and forgery.

This guy... I dated a girl a few years back at UNCW that thought this guy was some nice, genuine police officer (because he told everyone he was a Wilmington cop). He would push around any guy smaller than he was to be a tough guy. He would buy her and her girlfriends drinks and offer then rides late at night. To me, that was really sketchy...and I'm sure most guys would think the same way. This guy was a fraud in every way possible, and I am so glad to see that my suspicions about this clown were right on point. I hope he shares a cell with some big guy he ticked off in the past.
Ha! Hope this sleazoid enjoys his time behind bars. Heard they just love pedophiles where he's going! Sick, sick, sick. Looks like he's really expanded on his resume...
Maybe this lowlife will be put away for a long time. This wanna be cop should know better.
