OCEAN ISLE BEACH -- Silver Coast Winery is debuting four new "Calabash" wines. Winery employees are seeking the face of the wines, which are a red, white, blush, and "blue" wine, made with blueberries. The label contest is national, but local artists have submitted most of the entries. The winner will get $500 and national recognition. Maryann Charlap Azzato from the winery said, "They actually get their name on the label so it becomes their signature, their wine, their wine label is all over the country at that point." The contest ends September 15th. To enter a label, visit Silver Coast Winery's web site at www.silvercoastwinery.com or call the winery at (910) 287-2800.
