Woman assaulted downtown, police look for help

Wilmington Police need your help identifying a man who attacked a woman earlier this week downtown.

The attack happened in the 300 block of Dock Street around 1:00 Monday morning.

Police said a 22-year old woman was walking home when a man approached her, pointed a gun, asked how much money she had, then raped her. He took the victim's purse and cell phone.
