Just recently my 17 year old

Just recently my 17 year old daughter was involed in a terrible accident. We were very blessed by God to still have her with us. Although she is now in recovery and has a long way to go. My thoughs go out to both of the families involed. You can understand until you have gone through something like this, what it is like and then when you do you wounder why. I will prayer for the loss of a loved one, while I will also pray for the injured. New Hanover as helped make a mirical for mine and I pray the same for your family. There are alot of roads in NC that are bad areas and maybe DOT can do something about this, but at the same time there are many roads in nc that need something done to them not only the roads but the drivers as well. I just don't think nc has enought to fix them all.

regardless of who was

regardless of who was driving or why they crashed it is still a tragedy and my thoughts and prayers are with their families. Hopefully, people will not judge the driver and just offer prayers

guard rails

Most roads up north have guard rails that prevent this sort of thing. They need to put them in the median and along the shoulder of the road. It's sad that after all the highway use tax, gas tax and other North Carolina taxes that the general public safety on highways is ignored. A similar thing happened earlier this year on the bridge going over the Cape Fear River when a car crossed the center line. If they had a decent guard rail instead of that outdated metal bar on the bridge it would be safer. It won't change until everyone gets mad and starts complaining about it to your representatives at the state and local level!

We don't care how you do it

We don't care how you do it up north. If you don't like it, then move back!

I was only trying to provide

I was only trying to provide some information that may save your life someday. I can't believe the level of ignorance I encounter in this area. I'm glad you can tell I'm not from here.

Re: Maybe you could learn a thing or two

For Pete's sake that person was just trying to be helpful! Get your foolish head out of the sand and realize that we can all learn from each other. If it can save a life don't you think it maybe worth looking into it?
