WWAY Contest Rules And Regulations
Contests: Promoter: WWAY–TV, LLC Presenting Sponsors: Al Fulford Heating & Air, RHEEM Official Rules: NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER AND/OR WIN. - Employees of WWAY-TV, LLC and participating sponsors and other participating sponsors, their immediate families, advertising or promotional agents or subsidiaries are not eligible to enter and/or win.
- Must be 18 years of age to enter and/or win. No purchase necessary. ONLY ONE QUALIFIER PER HOUSEHOLD IN THE GIVEAWAY FOR THE DURATION OF THE CONTEST. Rules may change without notice at the discretion of WWAY-TV, LLC.
- INFRACTION OF THE RULES WILL IMMEDIATELY DISQUALIFY CONTESTANTS. All decisions made by WWAY-TV, LLC concerning the contest are final. All federal, state and local taxes payable as a result of receipt of the prize are the sole responsibility of the winner and Al Fulford Heating & Air. No substitution or transfer of prize(s) permitted. Return of any prize notification as undeliverable will result in disqualification and an alternate will be selected. The winner will be required to execute an Affidavit of Eligibility & Liability/Publicity Release.
- Grand Prize is a brand new RHEEM heating and air conditioning system valued at a minimum of $2500.00 plus free labor. All federal, state and local laws apply. All federal, state and local taxes, insurance, licensing, registration and title fees are the sole responsibility of the winner and Al Fulford Heating & Air. One grand prizewinner will be selected. Winner is responsible for all fees beyond installation and the initial cost of the heating air conditioning unit. This includes, but is not limited to, maintenance, electricity, etc.

- The winning submission represents him/her, and no other person may be present on behalf, for the purpose of committing fraud, claiming to be another person for the sake of qualifying in the contest and/or winning prizes/grand prize. If a qualifier is unable to participate due to health problems and/or work related conflicts, an immediate family member or friend may substitute at the start of the contest. A written and notarized affidavit stating the reason for the substitution must be submitted. WWAY-TV, LLC reserves the right to accept or refuse any application for substitution. Application for substitution does not guarantee acceptance.
- The Winner will be selected in a random drawing to be held on Thursday, December 20, 2012. The winner will be selected from all eligible entries received during the Sweepstakes Period. Odds of winning will depend on the number of eligible entries received during the Sweepstakes Period. The winner will be announced and contacted on Thursday, December 20, 2012.
- Winner(s) consent to WWAY-TV, LLC and, their agents, sponsors, advertising and promotional companies, right and permission the use of photographs or film of the winner(s) and reproductions thereof, voice recording of winner(s) and the use of name and address of the winner(s) in advertising, and other promotional matters, as they so desire, with no compensation to the winner(s), cash or otherwise.
- WWAY-TV, LLC and their parents, affiliates and subsidiary companies, and each of their officers, directors, employees, agents, and representatives, accept no responsibility or liability in connection with any injuries, losses or damages of any kind, or mail difficulties, caused by or resulting form the playing of the contest, or acceptance or usage of any prize awarded. WWAY-TV, LLC and other participating businesses will not be responsible for any claims, liabilities, repairs, or damages arising out of or in conjunction with the services, merchandise or other benefits obtained by the contestants and winner of this contest. By submitting an entry to the contest, entrant assumes all risk of harm to him and others and agrees to indemnify all media partners and participating sponsors for any harm to him and others and agrees to indemnify all media partners and participating sponsors for any loss, damage or injury to the entrants or other participants in the contest.

Each winner will receive a WWAY goodie package valued at $15.00, which will include 1 WWAY tee shirt and 1 WWAY Water Bottle. Prize cannot be exchanged for cash. To Enter: - The nomination/submission period for the Good Morning Carolina Coloring contest will last from December 1, 2012 to December 20, 2012 at 5:00pm EST

Throughout the 2013-2014 year, WWAY-TV, LLC will conduct trivia on Good Morning Carolina from 6am until 7am weekdays and will give away free tickets to community events. Good Morning Carolina will be the only WWAY-TV, LLC programming that will incorporate on-air trivia and grant tickets and giveaways to viewers. Trivia questions will be chosen at the discretion of the Good Morning Carolina anchors. 2. Eligibility. No purchase necessary to enter or win. Trivia is open only to legal U.S. residents of North Carolina, who are 18 years of age or older. Employees and immediate family members of employees of Morris Multimedia, Inc., WWAY-TV, LLC, are not eligible to participate in trivia. Viewers are only allowed to win trivia and accept winnings once in a 30 day period. Once the 30 day period passes, the viewer will be eligible to win again. 3. How to Enter. Trivia questions will be chosen by Good Morning Carolina anchors and viewers will be given a chance to answer the given trivia question by being the first caller to call into 910-763-0979. Whoever answers the question first correctly, will be the winner of said trivia prize. By choosing to participate in trivia on Good Morning Carolina, each entrant accepts and agrees to be bound by these promotion rules. 4. Prize. The Winner(s) will receive either tickets to community events, signed books, apparel, etc… 5. How the Prizes are Awarded. Prizes will be picked up at WWAY-TV, LLC at 615 North Front Street, Wilmington, NC 28401. 6. Odds of Winning. The odds of winning depend on the number of callers to the phone number 910-763-0979 and the amount of time it takes for a viewer to give the correct answer. 7. Conditions of Acceptance of Prize. The Winner(s) will be required to execute and return a release and affidavit of eligibility within 15 days of prize notification, or the prize will be forfeited. Winner(s) will be solely responsible for any and all local, state, and federal taxes. WWAY-TV, LLC will report any individual winnings over $600 (in cash or fair market value of goods or services) in a one year period to the Internal Revenue Service. Winner(s) will receive a Form 1099 from WWAY-TV, LLC if WWAY-TV, LLC reports any winnings to the Internal Revenue Service. Each Winner(s) agrees to the use of his or her name and likeness in publicity without any additional compensation, except where prohibited by law. Each Winner(s) acknowledges that WWAY-TV, LLC, and all other sponsors and venues, have the right to publicize and broadcast each Winner(s)'s name, voice, and likeness, the fact that he or she won, and all matters incidental thereto. 8. Limitation on Liability. By participating and winning on-air trivia, each entrant forever discharges and releases Sponsor(s), its/their parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates, and their respective directors, officers, employees, and agents from any and all liability, claims, causes of action, suits, and demands of any kind arising from or in connection with the promotion, including, without limitation, responsibility for property damage, loss of life, or personal injury resulting from or in connection with participating in the promotion or from or in connection with use or receipt of the prize, however caused. 9.
