WWAY TV3 - AM Meteorologist/Co-Anchor - 315
WWAY NewsChannel 3 in Coastal North Carolina has an immediate opening for a Morning Meteorologist / Co-Anchor for our morning newscast. "Good Morning Carolina" is both personality and content driven, and we're looking for someone to help us continue the great on-air chemistry we have among our anchors.
Primary responsibilities include producing a forecast-driven weathercast, developing new ways to showcase our WSI TruVu Max system and delivering the information on-air in a conversational and easy-to-understand style. You’ll also need the ability to stay on top of developing / severe weather without always having direct supervision. This person will also be expected to turn at least one story a week. A bachelor’s or master’s degree in meteorology plus at least one year of on-air experience are a must. WSI TruVu Max, ENPS and Edius experience are a plus.
We have all the major weather food groups here in Southeastern, NC: Hurricanes, severe thunderstorms, sunny summer afternoons and sometimes even a dusting of snow. So here, forecasting is fun! You must possess a valid and clean driver’s license.
Mail, fax, or e-mail resumes and a Demo, writing samples to WWAY, 615 N. Front
