Two Thumbs Up!

What a great idea. I've found that there are some very wise and witty visitors to the site who leave comments just as interesting as the articles themselves. I look forward to it!

Black Representation on TV

Blacks make up 12% of population, Latinos 13%. Blacks are over-represented when considering their size of the population. Latinos are under-represented. Media studies have shown that blacks are given far more coverage on TV shows and advertisements than their population size merits. As a Latino who came to this country fifteen years ago, I have made a very successful life here in the USA, and I did it through hard work. Let's see more hard-working Latinos represented on TV programs. The staff at WWAY need to research their subjects and be more analytical in their coverage. It's the Latinos and Asians who are under-represented, not the blacks!
