Young boaters targeted in new bill

A new bill in Raleigh is targeting young boaters. Wednesday, House lawmakers approved a bill that would make people under the age of 26 complete a boating safety course, or pass a boating operation test. Violators would not face any monetary penalties, just court costs. The North Carolina Wildlife Commission would not comment on the proposed bill until it passes the Senate.

what kind of crap is this...and WHY 26...why not 21? Just another way to rape and pillage the middle class

I can understand where you

I can understand where you are coming from, however, for the most part a kid who is going to have a boat has probably got a pretty good understanding of how a boat works from his father, etc. Soon there is going to be NOTHING you can do where you dont have something else you have to do before doing it.
