YWCA goes red for Women

WILMINGTON -- The YWCA and UNCW’s Alpha Phi Chapter are collaborating to raise awareness for a healthy heart. On Friday, February 1, 2008 at 4:00 pm, children from the YWCA Afterschool YWise Kids Program will walk the Holly Tree Loop (wearing their red bandannas) to bring attention to the American Heart Association’s national “Go Red for Women” campaign. The YWCA supports the America Heart Association’s fight against the No. 1 killer of American women – Heart Disease.
