RALEIGH (AP) — North Carolina State found ways to overcome an extremely short bench in its recent wins against Virginia Tech and North Carolina.
But the Wolfpack looked worn out in the final minutes of a loss to Georgia Tech this week.
Now, coach Sidney Lowe might have to start worrying a little more about how much his players have left in the tank.
Five players are averaging more than 30 minutes per game. The first-year coach says he's resorted to shortening practices to save his players' legs.
He's also hoping to find more contributors off the bench heading into tomorrow's game at Miami.
