MARTINSBURG, WV (AP) — A North Carolina man has pleaded guilty to using a counterfeit credit card and photo ID to get obtain cash advances at West Virginia’s Hollywood Casino at Charles Town Races.
US Attorney William Ihlenfeld says 39-year-old Titus Lavell Lee of Wilmington appeared Thursday before US Magistrate David Joel in Martinsburg.
Lee agreed to repay the Eastern Panhandle casino $27,500 as part of his plea agreement and is free on bond until sentencing for the 2010 scam.
He could get up to 10 years in prison and $250,000 in fines.
Earlier this week, two other people from New Hanover County and one from New York pleaded guilty to similar charges.
