WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — The annual Cape Fear Comedy Festival kicks off tonight with a big performance by headliner and superstar comedian Judy Gold.
The laughs begin at downtown Wilmington's City Stage, and the fun continues all weekend as comics take the stage at various venues around town to give comedy lovers a good laugh.
This is the fifth year the event has hit the Cape Fear area, bringing together dozens of the area's funniest comics, all to keep audiences in stitches over their humor.
Timmy Sherrill, who makes the festival possible each year, stopped by Good Morning Carolina to tell everyone what to expect. Watch the full interview to hear all about it, or check out showtimes and ticket information at capefearcomedyfestival.com.
